Sunday 12th May: All the brands taking part in our Hoxton Hotel market in Southwark

After a successful event there last year which saw hundreds of you shopping small in luxurious surroundings, we’re thrilled that we’re going to be hosting another market at The Hoxton Hotel in Southwark this spring. We’ll be popping up there on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th May with an ultra curated edit of 60 makers (30 different brands each day) and small businesses all focused around sustainable and vintage fashion. From one-of-a-kind dresses to vintage jewellery and handmade handbags, the market will include everything you need to refresh your wardrobe for spring and beyond, plus lots of other gorgeous accessories and homeware too. And we’re buzzing that lots of the brands will have exclusive new things for the day. See, touch, and try on unique handmade fashion, jewellery and more all in one central London location (and there’s a rooftop bar there for a drink when you’re done shopping!)

Fashion

NEW! Affirmed Collective: I honestly think this is the cutest thing ever. You might wonder why all the writing on Affirmed Collective loungewear is written in reverse, but it’s so the affirmation stays hidden to everyone but you, when you look at your reflection in a mirror. The words reflect back the right way round so only you can read them, keeping each precious and important affirmation secret to only you. Inspired by the laws of attraction and manifestation, founder and designer Izabella was inspired to set up her streetwear brand, designing pieces for other likeminded people, helping you feel good every time you check yourself out.

NEW! Crochet Gal Soph: Designer Soph learnt to crochet during lockdown and it instantly became her new obsession! After selling a few things online, she quickly connected to a massive crochet loving community who keep her original and unique designs sold out constantly. We absolutely love how Soph is celebrating such an age-old craft in new and exciting ways, blending the traditional with her exciting offbeat designs and patterns that feel fresh and new. Shop cute Y2K crochet crop tops, accessories and more at our next popup.

The Marcon Court Project: Are you counting down to the day of the market just so you can get your hands on a pair of the new bloomers from The Marcon Court Project because I AM AND I’M SO EXCITED! Maker Laura combines everything I’m looking for in one. Ethical and sustainable production - everything is made by hand in South London by Laura and her small team, in really small collections or made to order. Her designs are cool, comfortable, wearable, available in a range of sizes and she picks great patterns and fabrics. As a plus size woman I’ve ALWAYS felt comfortable, respected and taken care of by Laura. We’re so proud you’ll be able to shop her new collection at our market inside The Hoxton.

Vintage, Reworked and Preloved

NEW! Reviva Collection: Brand names you’ll recognise for a fraction of the price! Resale platform Reviva are taking part in our next fashion market, and they’ll be bringing a rail full of amazing preloved highstreet and designer pieces for you to take home with up to 70% off the original retail price. Think of it as a more boutique and better curated Ebay. I just spied a green gingham Kitri dress on their website, very good condition and it’s half price. Effortlessly chic, better for the environment and a great way to save money. We’re buzzing about this!

NEW! CELOSIA_RE: Combining a background in fashion design with an appreciation for curating the best preloved apparel, founders Jess & Em specialise in prolonging the life of a garment by carefully up cycling it in to something exciting and contemporary. Find stylish blazers, shirts, jackets and more at our next popup market.

Edit89: The vintage and luxury fashion reseller will be popping up at our market inside The Hoxton with a collection of top quality, style-led designs carefully curated by founder Amy. I’m chomping at the bit to see what’s going to be on their rail because Amy has THE BEST taste, AND her pieces are affordable, starting from just Β£30. Think vintage Levi’s, oversized blazer and a gorgeous voluminous blow out to finish the look. Covetable, curated and conscious.

Freya Simonne: THE QUEEN of upcycled fashion is taking part in our next market and we couldn’t be more excited! Freya Simonne is such a huge name in the small business world, known for reworking gorgeously original pieces from vintage textiles (You’ll definitely have seen her reworked puffer jackets that started the whole trend) As seen in Selfridges, Elle UK, Sheerluxe, Who What Wear, Marie Claire, The Evening Standard Magazine and Cosmopolitan to name just a few! Shop the Spring collection including a selection of absolutely out of this world dresses on Sunday 12th May.

Miller & Moore: Pre-loved and size inclusive fashion is coming to our next market! Because lovely Daisy at Miller & Moore sells not only vintage pieces but also pre-loved current high street pieces, it’s easier for her to have a range of sizes available for you to shop on her rail, which we know is soo important to you (and so important to us too) Expect excellent quality, brands you’ll recognise and super affordable options from just a tenner alongside some designer names too. Making sustainable shopping easier and more enjoyable, and you can actually try things on before you buy.

Dot & Lorna: If you’ve been saving pins and videos of cute girlies styling waistcoats as tops for Summer then can I intro you to the wonderful Dot & Lorna because I think her new design named the Rita is going to be right up your street! Making old things pretty and new again is the mission of founder Caitlin who designs one of a kind, feel good pieces made from vintage, second hand & rescued fabrics. Everything is handmade in London and I love how Caitlin focuses on bringing you the current trends but in a more sustainable way. Think padded vests, checkerboard patchwork, giant scrunchies and satin bows for your hair. I’m obsessed!

Grandpa’s Shirts: There’s so much heart in everything Gaby makes and that’s why we love her so much. She started Grandpa’s Shirts inspired by her beloved grandad Lesley who was always so snappily dressed. After he passed away suddenly, she found comfort wearing his favourite golf sweaters and shirts and decided to dust off her sewing machine to carefully edit them so they suited her better. We feel honoured that she’s continued making wonderful shirts and dresses from preloved pieces for the rest of us, and so happy she’s come back to take part in the market again. Find a collection of special and one of a kind upcycled pieces at our next market, in an array of cute pastel colours with lovely ricrac trim and bows galore. You can’t not love these icons! They sell quickly so please arrive early if they’re the reason for your visit.

Worn to Threads: Worn To Threads have become well known for the absolutely beautiful patterned vintage fabrics founder and maker Izzy crafts her upcycled pieces from. The most stunning little waistcoat made from 1986 Morris & Co fabric that used to be a pair of curtains, a wool coat expertly reworked from an artistically patterned blanket, a padded jacket cut from a patchwork quilt with the most exceptionally clever pattern placement I’ve ever seen and trimmed with gingham. Every single one is a feast for the eyes, a celebration of the most special textiles and craftsmanship, and of course totally one-of-a-kind. These are the sort of things that make me feel so excited about the future of fashion! Sustainable and original. Unbeatable.

Caroline Dickinson: Caroline Dickinson is a London based textile artist creating wearable pieces of art in the form of hand-printed vintage shirts, jackets and more. Far away from the churn of trends and throwaway culture of the fashion industry, Caroline’s luxurious pieces come from an ethos of slow, mindful design; they are made to be worn, hung, loved and treasured throughout a lifetime featuring her iconic block print shapes. Made from either vintage fabrics or certified natural fibres, they’re also all one-off or ultra limited edition making each one ultra special. AND the new Stripes Collection will be available to shop at our next market. So chic, easy to throw on and just gorgeous.

Vintage Inclined: Wearable and effortless vintage since 2012. Every single time vintage curator Fiona drops a new collection of pieces I love nothing more than to browse through every single one, as she finds the best things and styles them so nicely. I’m always so inspired! From patchwork suede jackets, 70s boho blouses, versatile chore jackets, 90s floral midi dresses and pieces of jewellery too. Refresh your Summer wardrobe in a more sustainable way at our next market.

Jewellery

NEW! Carat: If you’re looking to invest in solid gold jewellery, then look no further than Carat. Founder Esme deals only in solid gold and we’re so here for it; these are the type of pieces that won’t tarnish and will hold their value forever. True heirlooms you can wear for a lifetime and then pass on. If we’re talking girl maths, then these are a solid investment! Plus as she mainly sources preloved, each piece is one-of-a-kind making for a more exciting and original shopping experience. I want to kickstart my collection with a solid gold charm or classic gold hoops I know I’ll get so much wear from; she’ll have plenty to choose from on the day.

OG Studio: London jeweller Ozlem has been experimenting, designing, creating and changing direction with some absolutely thrilling new pieces. It’s been so exciting to watch! Her new jewels, known as Sideway Signets (because of the stones set unusually on the side) are more juicy, colourful, vibrant and filled with personality than ever before and we just know you’re going to love them. Featuring rainbow toned gemstones like peridots, opals, purple lavender, pink agate and more.

Handbags & Accessories

NEW! Made By Nelly: The TikTok girlies need giant scrunchies, and that’s exactly what Made by Nelly will be delivering! She started making scrunchies one year ago as a way to use some amazing fabric she found in shops across south London, vintage finds she’d won on eBay and some beautiful vintage fabric donations from her mum. Currently one of Depop’s global top 100 international sellers, her gorgeously oversized scrunchies adorn the hair of cool girls the world over (which is why they’re always sold out). We love that they have unique design features you don’t see anywhere else including double layers, mix-and-match fabric combos and the prettiest trims of all time.

NEW! Custard Cloth: We’ve fallen love with Lucy’s cross-body bags, which are all handmade by her. Picture this: It’s summer in London, you’re zipping here and there on a bike, meeting friends for picnics, heading out for brunch and cute weekend mooching. A cross-body bag is what you need. You need two hands to buy a fancy coffee ok! They’re called her β€œsling” bags and are ergonomically and cleverly shaped to fit comfortably around your body and I think the lilac checkerboard is perfect for the sunny season. Shop these and her other handmade bags designs at our next market for the first time ever.

Isla De Gar: As worn by our absolute style icons Lucy Williams and Luillland, and featured by Refinery 29, Who What Wear, Elle, SheerLuxe and The Guardian, we are so incredibly proud and excited to welcome London based handbag brand Isla de Gar back to our market. Lovely designer Emma has been making bags we’re totally obsessed with since 2020 and each bag is still completely handmade in London by her small team of talented girly makers. If you’ve seen these all over your Insta and always wanted to see, touch and try one on for yourself, make it happen at our market.

Rebel Patch: One easy way to dress more sustainably? To extend the life of your existing clothes and bring a touch of personal style to any piece? Discover Rebel Patch. Maker Lisa creates the most beautiful fabric patches you can use to repair or even just decorate items to give them a whole new life. Partnering with talented artists whose work is featured on the patches, these adornments feel fun but grown-up and so giftable. Each is made in Bristol, UK.

Beauty & Skincare

New! Reia: Looking to reduce your plastic consumption in your beauty regime? If so you’ll be excited to learn about Reia. Reia is skin-nourishing hand and body care without the single-use plastic. Looking for more sustainable products themselves, Sophie and Celia launched the business two years ago and to this day still make all of their natural, vegan formulations in Dorset. These clever (and gorgeous! I’d be so proud to display these bottles in my bathroom unlike the garish versions you get from big brands) products nourish, revive and encourage connection with nature through your daily rituals. It’s these small but consistent actions that can make a big impact on your life and also the planet.

Plenaire: As seen in Vogue! Stocked in Space NK! Recommended by SheerLuxe! We couldn’t be more proud to welcome Plenaire back to the market where you can try out their gentle but effective skincare for yourself. These formulations celebrate your skin’s chemistry, plus are vegan, cruelty free, and made in the UK. I absolutely love their Skin Frosting Deeply Hydrating Moisture Mask which I slather on when my skin needs extra TLC after going swimming. I also love the packaging and think it would be a super cute gift for a skincare obsessed friend. And I love that they have mini sizes available for travel.

Ceramics

NEW! Phyllos Ceramics: I challenge you to look one of Phyllis’ handmade ceramics in the eye and not feel a tug at your heartstrings! Their little eyes, their little smiles, their little faces, uh! I know these one-of-a-kind beauties are gonna fly off the shelves at our market. Each one is individually handbuilt by Phyllis in London, giving each its own subtly unique personality and vibe and also meaning there’s a highly limited edition number of them available. The best way to find out which one you adopt is to come to the market and see them IRL!

Harlie Brown Ceramics: I bet you’ve seen these all over your Insta! Harlie Brown is the maker of the famous Wiggle Mugs many of which live in the most beautiful homes on your feed and also have been stocked in both Selfridges AND Liberty. That’s no easy feat! Harlie’s one-of-a-kind handmade ceramics are totally iconic, because they’re so full of fun, colour and life. They vibrate with positivity and radiate good vibes, which make them all the more pleasurable for your morning cuppa, a dinner with friends, or whatever. She hand builds each unique piece and her husband Dan hand paints them, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Art, Prints & Paper Goods

Elustrates: If you want a special memento from market day, we’ve got just the thing! We’re so chuffed that wonderful artist Eleanor Joanna will be returning to our next market, offering super cute Live Portraits on the day. Simply sit for the artist for a few minutes and she will capture your likeness there and then! We always want to deliver you amazing value, exciting experiences and beautiful things, and we think Eleanor ticks all three boxes!

Studio MarieClaire: Offering her bespoke calligraphy services at the likes of Prada, Miu Miu, Harrods and Chanel, you can see why we are totally thrilled to welcome the talented (and beautiful!) Marie Claire back to our market. We just cannot get enough of her modern approach to traditional calligraphy which she transforms into the chicest quiet luxury vibe art prints, and more. Live personalisation is available.

Neesh Home: Elevate your mood and turn up the sass in your home with vibrant prints and other paper goods from artist and designer Avneesh. We know you can’t get ENOUGH cute art prints in your home, so enter South London-based Avneesh whose designs perfectly capture the best moments in life. From giant cups of tea to your fave cocktails, big bowls of juicy fruits to just lovely phrases and sayings, they’re all the kinds of things you’d be happy to admire day in and day out on your wall. β€œSend Noods” is a best-seller and one of my personal faves.

Kidswear

Studio Koter: Modern, unisex kidswear produced thoughtfully in the UK and Portugal using deadstock, organic or recycled materials that are carefully selected for longevity and washability. Studio Koter offers 17 carefully considered kidswear silhouettes transcending gender and seasons, easily allowing for comfortable layering that make each piece really versatile, hardworking and a great investment! Virtually every piece within the collection is interchangeable to create different looks that can be styled for every child.

Flowers

NEW! A Penny for Florence: Take a bunch of fresh flowers home with you from the market! That’s right! The gorgeous Anna from A Penny for Florence will be there with us on both Saturday and Sunday putting together beautiful arrangements of fresh blooms for you to choose from. Known for her contemporary designs that use the most stunning seasonal blooms, she’s worked with the best of them including at London Fashion Week. On the day she’ll be offering on the spot bouquet creation and vase styling. What could be cuter?
